This story pre-dates 'Mars Outpost: Surviving Tharsis Montes', (2014, Tom Luong with Julian Phillips, Tom Luong's Tomorrow Collection) as a multigenerational open debate about how life on Earth started, (Creationism vs. Big Bang). With the dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan in 1945, the Roswell incident in 1947, Charles Corso was born that same year in Roswell, New Mexico, as a 'light child', cross-bred between humans and extra-terrestrial life. His mother (Mellu Tanaka) was abducted by these off-world aliens, and artificially inseminated. As Charles Corso grows to adulthood, he follows his father's (Col. Philip S. Corso) career, joining a secret space program. On Earth's moon at a space academy his son meets the crew who will stay with him throughout four secret missions. The entire tale and three generation family history, is told from the point-of-view of Boriska Corso, Earth's first human child born on another planet (Pluto).
